To Twitter or not to Twitter - That is the question

The Internet is an ever changing landscape with technology intended to help you do things better, or to sap up your time to keep you from being productive!
Introducing Twitter which happens to tackle both of those boundaries at the same time. For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter, it is a One-to-Many communication medium which enables you to communicate with others using 140 characters or less. This sheer limitation of characters forces you into a position of not only choosing your words wisely, but also to decide on the best (and often shortest) words to describe or communicate your message. This is not a web focused phenomenon as well, as it allows you to communicate and share “What you’re doing” with others via SMS (txt), Web Pages, or a number of clients for mobile devices (WM, iPhone, etc) as well as for your Mac or PC (TweetDeck!)
So, is Twitter a drain on your average day forcing you to be unproductive? It certainly can be. If you were to ask internet guru @guykawasaki what he thinks, you’d find that his business thrives as a result of using Twitter to market his AllTop service.
It has also become a haven for PR folks, Internet SEO addicts and anyone looking to make a buck, or reach out and communicate with others.
The experience does not stop there however, as there are social meetups called “Tweetups” which have sparked out of this, engaging those who may communicate exclusively online with a physical venue for them to engage further.
There is so much more to discuss on this very topic, but the question you have to ask yourself is, Should I Twitter or not?
And the answer undeniably has to be - Twitter, or as some call it “become a follower”
